A veteran is a person who has served in the armed forces for his/her entire career or beyond 20 years. All servicemen and women are entitled with national benefits imposed by the law. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is the government department that runs the veteran benefit organization.
A veterans benefits and privileges include the following: disability compensation, pension education, home loans, life insurance, medical and burial benefits, survivors’ benefits, home loans and vocational rehabilitation.
