Keeping My Customers Satsified

28 November 2008

I have been making paintings for as long as I can remember and I have never had a customer say that they were not satisfied with the work that I do.  Last year alone I did fifty watercolor landscapes for an art gallery in Geneva. Every painting that I do represents something that has happened in my life and I try to express my ideas as best as I can. Many people have compared me to  VanGogh, but I like to think that every artist has his own style and way of expressing what he wants the viewer to see in each painting.

Organization Is Everything To The Wedding Photographer

27 November 2008

It is generally a good idea to telephone the bride one week before the actual day of the wedding.  As a Leeds wedding photographer I have actually had the bride change the venue of the wedding in the days leading up to the big day and didn’t think it necessary to let me know.  To be honest I can quite see how something so drastic will make you slip up and forget to tell your photographer!  It is important to clarify the time and place of the wedding and to confirm numbers of guests who will be at both the church and at the reception because they are not necessarily the same.  It is also imperative that payment is made at this time, as even on the day things can go wrong and being the wedding photographer doesn’t make you exempt from getting caught up in whatever it may be.

Together for the season

26 November 2008

Well I finally after so many years of being apart from my family, we are having a giant family Christmas. everyone is coming, all parts of our immediate and extended family is on their way. I am so excited I can barley wait for it to start. Some of these people I have seen in years. I have lots of stuff planned for the meet. I found a great deal on family Christmas crafts at the local craft store. Stuff to make gingerbread houses, trimming the tree, and decorating the outside parts of the house. I even bought all the firewood I would ever need. I will be fun.

25 November 2008

As skills go, deciding to learn to dance is a popular choice. It gives many skills which are beneficial to it’s participants not to mention fitness.

The people you choose to learn to dance from is very important. Wherever possible you should choose to go to the places and teachers with the best skills.

This is the way to start learning in the manner of a professional, and learning this way will get you furthest even if you do not want to be a professional dancer.

Besides it makes sense to pay someone who can dance well and is a good teacher. Dancing isn’t about tactics or brains, it’s more about technique and skill.

Rap Influenced by Mexican History

19 November 2008

Many Chicano rappers have been heavily influenced by Mexican history, including many themes relevant to the Mexican and Chicano people living in the United States and Mexico. Chicano rap is mainly enjoyed by hip hop listeners in the United States and has also established a cult fan base following in Japan, although its main audience consists of Hispanics or Latinos living on the West Coast, the Southwest, and the Midwest. Its ability to reach large audiences without mainstream airplay or media promotion such as hip hop ringtones, is due in part to nationwide lowrider car tours and their accompanying concerts headlined by Chicano rappers. This environment allows ChicanorRap artists to earn significant incomes through independent label releases while promoting directly to a target audience.

I Have A Collection Of Old Antique Glass

28 October 2008

It’s odd how we develop a hobby and my hobby of collecting antique glass is definitely a little odd. I have a collection of old antique glass jars and some of them look very weird indeed.

Part of the reason is because glass jars were always blown by hand so the results were very variable but I think that is part of the attraction as I love to see the slightly strange shaped bottles and jars. I would go so far as saying I prefer the antique glass jars with the strangest shapes especially when the name of the company is embossed in the glass and that has become misshapen when the glass was fired.

If you are trying to find an actual sword that is worth spending the money on you have to do a little looking. You can’t find a real Handmade Samurai Sword in your local shopping mall. You can find the cheap knock off swords if that is what you are looking for though.

01 October 2008

Technology has made the sewing machine, once a high priced item, very affordable for most sewing applications. Country Artists who sing together.

21 September 2008

In the world of country music, there are a lot of singers who sing alone but there are also a lot of country artists that sing as a duo or in groups. Like any type of music, duos and groups gives the listener a bigger range of musical talent to listen to between the singing and the instrument playing. Especially in country music, there are a lot of groups that are family related and ones that are so close, they might as well be family. Alabama, Bellamy Brothers, Big & Rich, Brooks Dunn, The Judds, Lonestar and the Statler Brothers are just a few of the groups.

Advice for a beginner on the Doumbek

12 September 2008

I have just signed up for some doumbek lessons, and now I need to go out and get a drum, so I am looking for some advice. Can anyone tell me which type of doumbek is the best? I was thinking of getting a copper doumbek just because I like the way they look, but if another type is better I would like to know about it. I also need to know whether I should buy natural or synthetic heads. I am thinking I should get the doumbek and doumbek heads that will be the easiest to use while still sounding nice.
